What:

Construction Tour of the Renovation of the Federal Building

 

Project Manager, Jutta Cyrynowski, Alberta Infrastructure and Clarke Construction will take us on a tour behind the scenes to discuss the building systems and challenges of renovating/repurposing this historic building.  

There will be handouts explaining the project along with a discussion on the history of the building, trades, previous work done, current work and trades, and the work still to be done. We will also tour the central services plant from an M&E point of view.


Parking is in a lot south of the building accessed off 107th street and we will walk around to the north fenced site entrance. We will meet at the North Building Entrance, and then into to building to sign in. Refer to the Map attachment.

 

All attendees must bring and wear their own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), consisting of safety boots/shoes, hard hat, safety vest and safety goggles.

 

Tour Start: 5:00 – 6:30 pm  Location: 9820 – 107 Street, Edmonton

Cost:                $10.00 for chapter members and guests.
